The very first prototype of the Floating City was the flying castle called Skyberg. Erected with funds from private investors (rumors say that several dwarf clans personally sponsored this ambitious project), it was supposed to start a new era of land colonization. Travel could become so much more convenient! Simply choose a point on the map and wait a little bit, while the massive fortress sails through the skies on its own and arrives at its designated location. Research expeditions could be delivered straight to points of interest, and battles with ice giants could be waged using ballistae while hiding behind impregnable stone walls at the same time. Constructed by the finest craftsmen, the prototype was truly impressive: despite the colossal energy costs for takeoff and movement (aspects to which the creators of the Floating City paid the most attention), it was practically the perfect embodiment of the original idea. Unfortunately, the demon invasion put an end to the never-started mass production - the dwarves quickly lost interest in this project and retreated underground. And Skyberg itself sank in the coastal waters of the continent, colliding with an overly aggressive and incredibly powerful copper dragon. But enough about the sad things, let's rather talk about the events of the Weekend Events in Rise of Angels!
